Yeah a new one, the model bloat is real as the Forester is now the size of my JSW. I’m not sure the specs on the new Outback as its out of my price range but what gives Subaru.

The Levorg needs to be a thing here, it’s big, but I’d take it over an Outback

I’d take one given the chance, it looks so much better than the Outback. I wonder how it would stack up against the “new” Allroad that will be arriving in the U.S. this fall.

When I test drove the Forester last week I was surprised that I didn’t completely hate the CVT, I’d prefer 3 pedals but it was serviceable. It looks like Audi is putting the 8 speed auto as the only choice in the All Road so 3 pedals isn’t an option there either.

I found a Paprika Red 2.5X Limited the other day, which is quite rare around here (both the color, and it being a pre-facelift Limited).

It’s a lovely color; too bad it wasn’t offered in 2009...

Well that’s a pleasant surprise I guess. Too bad about not manual in the Allroad, but I almost exclusively hear good things about the 8 speed, assuming they also use the ZF

Apparently Subaru uses some computer trickery to make it feel more like a traditional auto than a CVT in the sense that it almost feels like it is shifting gears. I am with you in assuming that the Audi is getting the 8 speed from ZF.

It’s really nice in the sun. They also offered this color on the Impreza, and the Outback Sport in two-tone. shudders

That’s a nice Forester, and I wouldn’t mind having it. However, I like mine quite well, too; probably for much the same reason that you like your Legacy...dependable, practical, reasonably fun, and allows the opportunity to keep something less sane in the garage (I’m still working on that last part)

I love that pearl white on the Liberties, the older gen had a nice one too
